Pylo allows you to write `Silo <https://wci.llnl.gov/codes/silo/>`_
visualization files from the `Python <http://www.python.org>`_
programming language, more specifically from data contained in `numpy
<http://www.numpy.org>`_ arrays.

It is built upon

* `Boost Python <http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_35_0/libs/python>`_,
* `PyUblas <http://mathema.tician.de/software/pyublas>`_,
* and `libsilo <https://wci.llnl.gov/codes/silo/>`_, the official Silo
  access library.
